Torre Europa was designed by Miguel Oriol Ybarra in 1986. In 2017, AGIB Real Estate Infinorsa commissioned RTKL to transform the skyscraper into the most cutting-edge technological, efficient and innovative building of its time. Indeed, it has the honour of being considered Madrid first “smart building”.
Torre Europa boasts an imposing architectural structure. The thirty-two-storey office tower, with a singular glass façade, external pillars coated in stainless steel and a new main lobby –an impressive 12-metres-high glass cube with 6-metres-high revolving doors- is one of the most striking edifices in Spain’s capital.
Torre Europa is located in the centre of the Paseo de la Castellana, the boulevard running through the heart of the Azca district, the city’s financial hub.
Torre Europa is located on the Paseo de la Castellana, in the very heart of Azca, Madrid's Central Business District (CBD), and offers a wide variety of services, ranging from restaurants and retail stores to hotels, gyms and leisure facilities within walking distance.
It is set in a privileged urban environment where balancing the demands of work and family life is made appreciably easier.
Torre Europa is rated among the best communicated buildings in Madrid's financial district, with a Metro (tube) station, several bus stops and two taxi ranks at the door. In addition, it is within easy reach of the airport (< 20 minutes), high-speed long-distance train stations (< 15 minutes) and suburban rail network (< 5 minutes).
