Torre Europa was designed by Miguel Oriol Ybarra in 1986. In 2017, AGIB Real Estate Infinorsa commissioned RTKL to transform the skyscraper into the most cutting-edge technological, efficient and innovative building of its time. Indeed, it has the honour of being considered Madrid first “smart building”.
Torre Europa boasts an imposing architectural structure. The thirty-two-storey office tower, with a singular glass façade, external pillars coated in stainless steel and a new main lobby –an impressive 12-metres-high glass cube with 6-metres-high revolving doors- is one of the most striking edifices in Spain’s capital.
Torre Europa is located in the centre of the Paseo de la Castellana, the boulevard running through the heart of the Azca district, the city’s financial hub.
