The Infinorsa Foundation’s (Fundación Infinorsa) designated aim is to provide assistance, by helping persons with mental and/or physical disabilities, facilitating the rehabilitation of drug addicts, and granting scholarships to young underprivileged people in Spain.
The Foundation collaborates with the Aleph Tea Association (Asociación Libre para la Educación Personalizada y Humana de los Trastornos del Espectro Autista), a non-profit public- identity association with over 300 partners and 150 volunteers, in providing early care services, training for professionals, and support for families with children suffering from autism spectrum disorder. In 2005, the Infinorsa Foundation worked on finding a suitable plot, and in 2008 it started to co-finance and to provide technical advice for the construction of an educational centre for the Association in Madrid. In addition, it makes regular contributions towards the centre’s operation and upkeep.
AGIB Real Estate Infinorsa supports cultural promotion through the patronage and sponsoring of non-profit cultural institutions, such as the Fundación de Amigos del Museo del Prado (Friends of the Prado Museum Foundation), Real Asociación de Amigos del Museo de Arte Reina Sofia (Royal Friends of the Reina Sofia Art Gallery) and Fundación Colección Thyssen-Bornemisza (Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection Foundation).
AGIB Real Estate is strongly committed to the environment. Eloquent proof of this is the Leed Platinum Certification for Existing Buildings obtained by Torre Europa, Torre Serrano, Castellana 66 and Trion. Among the actions carried out, the following stand out: energy savings of approx. 50% and a reduction in water consumption of approx. 25%. The company continues to work on achieving similar certifications (LEED, BREEAM) for the rest of the portfolio, as well as new certifications related to building connectivity (Wiredscore). Proof of AGIB Real Estate's strong commitment to sustainability is the LEED/BREEAM certification of 60% of the portfolio. The location of the buildings in central locations in Madrid, Berlin and Düsseldorf and their proximity to underground and bus stations, facilitates the reduction of the CO2 footprint produced by users commuting to the properties. The low client rotation in the buildings of the portfolio is a consequence of the AGIB Real Estate team's efforts to implement continuous improvements in the properties, focusing on increasing tenant comfort and long-term sustainability.
